Jigsaw: Broadcasting Elements
There are 5 parts to the assignment.
First, click the "Broadcasting elements reading," then you must summarize:
1)Broadcast story forms and terms
2) Broadcast writing
3) Sound
4) Pictures
5) Newscasts
News 2 Project
What things go into making a broadcast? The items listed below are what you will have to complete for this project.
1) Find a story & write about it! Develop the story. Three stories minimum.
2) Shooting film: Interviews and B-roll for your newscast.
3) Script: Write the script your anchors will read. Use broadcast writing tips & standards.
4) Plan and create the slideshow/graphics/ teleprompter around your stories.
5) Practice reading your story & using the equipment.
Curricular Video Project
This video may be centered around a curricular area of your choice.
It must have an approved storyboard and follow the rubric outlined at the bottom of this page.
Must include: Title, Credits, Audio layers, and transitions.
