Design Help
Designers simplify ideas or images down to the most essential elements in order to make a point. The human eye loves contrast and simplified things. We don't like to look at complicated or overly complex images. It is just too confusing and sometimes too much. Our job as designers is to move the eye where we want it to go, and make our point right away.
A designer made this resume easier to read. Your eye is drawn to it. There is interest as well as clearly marked areas for the reader to easily find what they are looking for.
Good design communicates an idea or specific point effectively. Start simple. This is where the most beautiful and engaging design happens.
This image shows the process that a designer may go through to create a logo. This is simplified, but of course it starts with doodling and brainstorming, then using your tools and software to create a final product.
